Horticultural Society - HAMPSTEAD GARDEN SUBURB GARDENS open in conjunction with the National Gardens Scheme
at Fellowship House.
This year, under the heading HAMPSTEAD GARDEN SUBURB GARDENS, nine of the Suburb's finest gardens and one allotment are opening on one day as a group featured in the National Gardens Scheme yellow 'Gardens to Visit' book, in which garden owners raise funds for nursing, cancer and other worthwhile national charities. Tickets with maps £8.50pp (children free) available from 86 Willifield Way and 1 Asmuns Hill on the day only. Refreshments at Fellowship House, where two well-known nurseries will be selling a fantastic selection of plants. Plants will also be available in some of the gardens. Children's Treasure Hunt, Raffle with amazing prizes. Full details are published on the Horticultural Society website (www.hortsoc.co.uk) and the NGS website and can also be found in the 2017 yellow 'Gardens to Visit' book published by the National Gardens Scheme. Some of the gardens are also open by appointment until September. The hall at Fellowship House has a stage and seating for up to 85 people theatre-style. It is also ideal for children's or family parties. It has a well equipped new kitchen.
